If This Doesn’t Prove ANYONE Can Dance, What Will?
Stop what you’re doing and WATCH THIS.
This performance was a surprise treat to celebrate Oprah’s 24th season. Black Eyed Peas and Oprah’s team organized the largest dance flash mob in history.
Dance choreographer Ashley Wallen put together the fun routine for over 20,000 residents of Chicago. Only TWENTY of them were professional dancers! I get fired up every time I watch the mob dance.
So if 20,000 regular peeps can do it, (in one day, on national TV) what’s YOUR excuse for not dancing? What else do you need?

Drumming Behind The Scenes of SYTYCD Canada
Just a shot of me playing in the finale episode of So You Think You Can Dance Canada, season two. I was a drummer for the afro-jazz number choreographed by Sean Cheeseman. Notice that I’m the shortest one also… =P
FYI: Tap dancers make good percussionists! We’re musicians also, so get yo’ drum on.

How Dancers Rock Out On Halloween
Hells yeah Toronto!
If you missed our rock theme Halloween tap dance and hip hop classes, you missed a sweaty, aggressive, punked-out day of Sum 41, Nickelback, Simple Plan and Linkin Park. We did it big and loud at BDX.
Congratulations to our new friends trying out hip hop dance classes for the first time, and congrats to the best costume winners! They each walked away with a sweet iTunes gift card.

Two New Toronto Hip Hop Classes Added To Schedule
Two New Toronto Hip Hop Classes Added To Schedule!
That’s right hip hop dance lovers, I’ve added not just one, but TWO beginner hip hop dance classes to the schedule at Byfield Dance Experience. Here’s when they start:
- 11 am BEGINNER hip hop starting Saturday November 14th. Perfect if you’re already up early Saturday morning. This allows you to enjoy more of your weekend (starting with a friggin’ awesome hip hop class, of course!).
- 6:15 pm BEGINNER hip hop starting Monday November 16th. Excellent choice to start your week off on the right foot and de-stress from Manic Monday. Plus, you’ll burn off all that bad food you ate all day…
As you already know, we’re working diligently to create an inspiring dance studio environment while growing our numbers. But I always want to make sure you have enough space to throw down without feeling overwhelmed or crowded.
And with dance class prices that are affordable for everyone, you can’t go wrong.
